Assessment Center

The Assessment Center – which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – is a licensed assisted living facility providing housing and residential treatment for 15 men and women with staff supervision and psychiatric rehabilitation services. Most individuals begin their stay at this level. In the first 30 days of admission, a thorough baseline assessment is performed and an individualized treatment plan is created with the resident and their family. At this level, our staff educates residents about their mental illness and the importance of taking medications for treatment of their illness. They also work with residents to develop and refine the daily living and coping skills needed to manage their illness. Each resident is offered at least 20 hours of individual skills training, counseling, classroom education, and community activities each week.
